We first see Liz at like 5:30 via Caleb looking into her office, which I obviously hate, and then later in the same sequence when Mr Firth asks *her* to help *him* with a case. First of all, I hate everything about the Liz and Caleb thing, and in particular I think it's out of character for her and she deserves to be better served by this show in general. (I also have to mention her wearing purple clothes and obvious lipstick at the end of the last episode, after the Event, and at the start of this one.) But this does really effectively highlight the power dynamics in the new firm: Liz is above Caleb, but he has better access to the people above her, and this scene shows how much power that gives him. Curious how he's going to use it.
