The scene with all the different Calebs waltzing in the chamber just breaks my heart…And, the fact that each Caleb was “assigned” a partner in Caleb’s mind, that there was one of each of the Nein they were meant to dance with for the encounter, oh…

I wonder. What it would look like if all of the Mighty Nein were there—Caduceus, Essek, Kingsley—who (and when) would their respective Caleb’s be? The Caleb who first staggered into the grove, still grieving and aching? The Caleb who had finally begun to heal, braved the frozen tundra of Eiselcross? The Caleb who kissed Tealeaf goodbye on the forehead, cradling his “Empty” body in the Astral Sea?

How would each of them approach Caleb, try to offer him a dance? What would each Caleb see, when they looked at them…?

I just love the whole encounter, and oh…it does make me wonder how the Mighty Nein would feel if they were faced with all the different incarnations of Tealeaf in one room…au where the Nein try to help Kingsley undergo anamnesis to cope with the influx of sudden memories, and he has to reckon with all his different selves—
