Had so much fun working with this talented music artist, Caleb Minter! I was given the opportunity to style Caleb for his promo shoot featuring his new single “Blue Skies”.
Since I knew the photographers were going to take advantage of the greenery in Charlotte, I wanted to make sure that I chose cool prints and minor bold colors for his looks. I gave Caleb a street style that was polished and simple yet bold in print.
I wanted him to have a street edge to his look while still layering loud prints on his athletic figure ..yet keeping the base colors of the wardrobe subtle by using black, white and khaki green. it was imperative for me to be strategic in making sure the pop of color was only being expressed through the accessories and shoes because I knew the photographers wanted to incorporate a lot of colorful elements in the background of each location we shot at.
Working with Caleb Minter was full of good vibes because he isn’t shy in front of the camera and he is humble with his work. He is definitely a talented artist and he works hard to perfect his gift.
