Sophocles: Fave sad book/movie/play?
One of my all time favourites, both book and film, is the last unicorn by peter s beagle. it’s not the kind of sadness that makes you cry, it’s more melancholic, especially the book. i also love crying to the dead poet’s society.. and the little prince but for more personal reasons

do you think the jedi are right or wrong?
just answered, but always happy to go on about this, haha. mostly I think YODA is wrong. there are def problems with the jedi code, but insofar as it’s up to interpretation, I think there are some good interps out there. Yoda, however, has a bullshit interpretation, and it contributes to the jedi becoming paternalistic, colonialist, and pretty damn militaristic for a group of supposed “peacekeepers.”
I like Qui-Gon’s relationship to the code and the council to an extent, but that whole “we didn’t come here to free slaves” bullshit? miss me with that.
what’s your favorite alien species?
WOOKIEES. ok, aside from the fact that my childhood nickname was “Wookie” [Brooke > Brookie > Wookie], the entire species narrative is SO GODDAMN SAD??? and everyone knows I’m a supporter of captured mining populations in any damn way I can be

the bad language filter is multilingual i believe so there could be a swear in another language in there somehow
it all disappeared when i isolated the “i”, i’ll look some of the possibilities up... (i just really wanted to make the karp-scarpia pun, i love tosca too much)
so: “skarpia” means “turbot” in polish (and “karpia” “carp”) “karpi” means “cartons” in estonian (and “carp” again in polish) “arpi” means “scar” in finnish one of them could be used as a swear in one of those languages? idk
