Week 46.5/52: November 10th - November 16th 2025 | Chinatown

short shift day so went to chinatown

dragon city mall had everything i wanted

first stop is strawberry matcha latte at monster kakigori (so bummed that i just missed the milk bread popup)

second stop was some chinese mochi green grape dessert from sweet together (DELICIOUSSSS

third stop was a new korean photbooth KITCH KITCH (amazing quality and value)

last stop was buying a pin for love LABUBU!!!! cute

and then bf went to do his errands...

and then our truck died....... ON THE ROAD TO MECHANIC FUCK

rest of day was dealing with tow truck

walking back home for 40 minutes in the freezing cold :'(

Week 10.5/52: March 3rd - March 9th 2025 | Daylight Savings

Lunch with Jerry at Big Catch. Ate sushi and sweet potato panna cotta. The Moon for bubble tea after our meal, of course. We also went to hunt for labubu (unsuccessful) and caught up on heartstopper season 3 finally! Evening spent with work team at Tom Campbell hill.

Week 47.4/52: November 21st - November 27th 2022 | New Necklace 📿

My first ever Tiffany piece aka my lollipop necklace actually broke (the white enamel just fell off one day...) so to replace that one I got another necklace (mini open heart necklace)! Trying to take advantage of that Alberta 5% tax lol. It’s quite pretty and I am quite happy with it!!!! Been wanting it for a year now and happy to finally buy it. Was in and out of the store so fast as usual lmao........

Also headed to Scottman’s Hill after shopping trip to look at skyline lmao. Cold!

Week 22/52: May 30th - June 5th 2022 | Favourite Places in Calgary 🍔❤️

Convocation is just sooooooo beyond tiring lol. Barely alive but managed to drag myself & Matt to Lil’ Empire Burgers and Tom Campbell's Hill after working for 11 hours rip. These are literally my 2 must go places in Calgary hahahaha. Trip is not complete without seeing the skyline at least once!!! Dinner was yum as always, got their regular cheeseburger and both dirty fries & chili cheese fries. I like the dirty fries so much better because cheese is god tier (even though both are good)! Burger was super yum as always hehehehe. Wish I could eat it in Vancouver :-( The skyline was extra pretty! Stayed out until I was too tired and passed out at end of night. 😪

Week 14.25/52: April 4th - April 10th 2022 | Calgary Skyline 🏙️

After working for 4 days in a row I finally got a day off to explore lol. Spent it with my coworker Jesslyn and we went to soooooo many places... (just kept adding onto our agenda as the day went on LOL) First stop was Devonian Gardens. It’s pretty cute but mostly kind of sad hahahha. We went to eat lunch at Gogi Korean Kitchen and I got their rice cakes with cheese and the green grape pulp drink. The food was too sweet towards the end....... but I managed to finish it hahahaha. We finally went to the Calgary Central Library after eating. Bless Jess for changing the white balance on my camera in the library so I can take these... it looks so much better than my photos from last trip. We stopped by Sephora to buy some stuff... I had my giftcards so I tried to spend them lol. Next stop was Royaltea... finally got their super pricy 多肉葡萄 this time... still doesn’t compare to Good Day Good Time because nothing does HAHAHHAA. But yum regardless. After resting in the bbt store for about a hour, we went on a whole journey to Tom Campbell Hill (zoo/my favourite place) to look at the Calgary skyline. Made it before sunset and waited until the sky was dark. It was sooooo nice. It started hailing so we just ran away and went to Jollibee to end the day. I think they ran out of spicy chicken so they just gave me regular and it wasn’t nearly as good.... kind of disappointed but it’s ok.

Week 47.2/52: November 22nd - November 28th 2021 | Calgary 

Day off spent exploring by myself! Actually left the hotel with my coworker Shivam but after we got to the library he wanted to read LOL so I left him and explored Calgary by myself. Calgary Central Library was so beautiful! Truly god tier. After leaving the library, I went to the Calgary Tower (only passed by, did not go up), Wonderland Sculpture, and Olympic Plaza. Passed by Chinatown as well during my walk to Rotary Park and Crescent Heights Lookout Point. Ended the day with Peter’s Drive-in. I got their cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, and grilled onions. I also tried their lemon milkshake. Everything is very yum!!!!! The milkshake got way too sweet after it melted though but still worth the trip. I wanted to explore more but it was way too cold, I felt like my fingers were going to freeze off. So I just went back to hotel and rested (and planned for the next day).

Week 22.5/52: May 30th - June 5th 2022 | YYC ✈️ YVR

Woke up early for flight but was SOOOOO tired wtf..... did a final check of my room, checked out of the hotel, had one last breakfast, and took the taxi to the airport with Matt hahhhahah. So nice we can fly back together this time!! Didn’t have a lot of views during the flight so we just watched Love, Simon (2018) together. The flight was so short though so I still had 20 minutes left to watch LMAO (I will putlocker it later). Matt drove me back home (thank you <3) and when I got home my mom had fruit tea from Yifang hahahahaha. She made me spicy noodles and I spent the rest of the day catching up on rest and blog posts. Nice to be back in Vancouver... even though I will be away again in just 2 days.
