The Delta Conveyance Project wants to siphon off the rivers even more so then they already are. Have you ever heard of the California Aqueduct? Have you ever heard of Lake Shasta? Oroville? Trinity? The Sacramento River? The Delta? Our people have undertaken a gargantuan project managing the state's water supply. Instead of the Delta Conveyance Project maybe build Sites Reservoir and Del Puerto Canyon Reservoir. Reservoirs are awesome and I even work at the one called Los Vaqueros! Just make sure you have enough for the farmers!

Water wars are coming to California and I live in the heart of it. Up North we have Mount Shasta and to the East we have the Sierra Nevadas. Many rivers flow South, West, and even the San Joaquin travels North up the Central Valley. Mostly all this water flows into the Delta which eventually goes into the ocean. Our state even took on a massive project decades ago which is visible from outer space. Of course I am talking about the California Aqueduct. This water travels South to farmers and Los Angeles. Water is also stored in man made reservoirs all across the state. I believe San Diego even has a desalinization plant which converts ocean water into drinkable fresh water. We have had decent snow pack the past couple years thank God. Hopefully it continues. We don't wanna waste water but we don't wanna kill the environment either. Strike balance!
