Need Advice Please

Hey, guys, I need to ask a question of those of you that work in addiction recovery or healthcare, please.

Since you are in this industry I am hoping you will know what I am missing from this situation.

There is a woman in the community named Cali Estes who says that she is a doctor. She owns, The Addictions Acedemy, and apparently for anywhere from a few hundred to a couple thousand you can become a recovery coach!

Problem is that NAADAC says ON ThEiR website:

PLEASE NOTE: Cali Estes and the Addiction Academy are NOT NAADAC Approved Education Providers. Trainings, manuals, and certifiations from these entities are not approved by NAADAC. No CEs from trainings or manuals with Dr. Estes or the Addiction Academy will be accepted by NAADAC or the NCC AP.

There are numerous stories out there about people paying for these classes and receiving certification from The Addictions Academy only to find out on an interview they aren't qualified. they ask for refunds only to be spoken down to and accused of blackmail. ( for asking for a refund )

So would you recommend this school? If so please explain why she is still in operation if she is scamming the community?
