To start our morning, we had coffee and baked goods at La Colombe on the banks of the LA River in Elysian Valley.

We enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Nicolas in Carmel and a bakery crawl in Monterey (Alta, Ad Astra and Parker-Lusseau).

Walking along the beach in Carmel we looked for sea otters but didn’t see any. So I photographed the sea weed instead.

Driving south on I-5. Heading to Taste of India for lunch.

We’ll dosome beer tasting at Crusader Brewing and spend the night in Bakersfield so we don’t have to drive all 8 hours in one day.
