Too Preposterous Even for LA Times: False Wildfire Pollution Story Removed

As I was ready to debunk another fake news story, I found that LA Times had already rescinded the article. I felt compelled to post this because there are people around the country and the world that contact me with concern over conditions in Southern California, when in fact many of these stories aren’t true. But if you don’t live here, how would you know?

The LA Times claimed that wildfire smoke was causing pollution in Long Beach, when in actuality, this photo was taken on a foggy day. Here is the LA Times photo followed by the ABC News weather advisories for Dec. 1 (I know that this photo is from Dec. 1 because it was labeled as such on the Yahoo News version of the article).

Not only are there no active wildfires in Southern California, but this story also went as far as to say that trucks waiting for the cargo ships the government is not allowing into the ports are also contributing to this “smog.” It is beyond ridiculous that after months of idling at the port, there is suddenly a pollution crisis (and of course the amount of exhaust is nothing compared with what freeway traffic generates every day). It is obvious that this is fog, and even the news reported on dense fog along the California coast.

There is more fog today. The fog in Tulare County caused a plane crash in which 4 people were killed. There is a fog advisory for Bakersfield as well. Fog is an indicator of an energetic shift, an OR transmutation at ground level.

After an initial OR rush following Project Newsom, which caused a wet October with record breaking rain in California and an early start to ski season, we are now in a dry spell preceding the incoming winter fronts. We have actually already had a significant amount of rain for this early in the “water year.” The dry November was due to an extreme OR rush in Washington (3 different gifters are responsible), which caused massive amounts of rain to the north and a reversed jet stream to the south.

Now that conditions are normalizing again, we will be seeing a major amount of precipitation for the entire west in the next week. Meanwhile, my reporting here has been slow because the skies are perfectly clear all the time without air traffic. The atmosphere is too high in OR to sustain inter-dimensional interlopers at this time.

When I was a kid, I stayed twice at Camp KEEP (once as a kid; once as a camp counselor) in Montana de Oro State Park, so I wanted to go back to see where I got my "Coolest Counselor" award (not a biggie)! While filming, I met two German tourists who were at the SAME hardcore show in LA that I was at the night before. They took our picture and when I offered to return the favor, they said, "No, thanks!"

After that, we blasted over to Morro Rock for killer surf and a killer-er sunset. Met a dog named Mochi and shivered!
