A Journey of Mountains and Nature at Yosemite National Park
I finally made a trip to Yosemite. I have lived in California all my life up to this point. So it was to my amazement that one place I had not visited was Yosemite National Park. I had heard of its amazing trees, lakes, mountains, and the overall beauty and natural scenery of wonder and awe. It was a fun drive getting there but after my first experience hiking and getting to see the scenery I must say in one word: "WOW"!! It definitely impressed me from the vast sunsets at night by the lake to the beaches that complemented it. The mountains of red and silver limestone definitely impressed me from the vast colors of the scenery to the tempo and mood of peace and synergy of natural beauty and the creation of pleasure that it created in a divine way. We stopped at different beaches and a chapel church just to stop and appreciate the small and wonderful things of life. The first site that captivated my senses were the rock formations of El Capitan to the Half Dome. They captured me from not only the size but the curvature of the rocks and the vastness and fullness of the structure. The scale was something to both create wonder and amusement at how something could be created like that and just as a place to look at your life and how life is like a mountain. We are always climbing it to become better people whether that is in your career or any area of life. The last stop on our travels was about an hour outside of Yosemite at Mono Lake.
