It was a step Clem had to take; walking out and about in Muggle London. She couldn’t spend any more time trying to hide away. Knowing that didn’t make it any easier— her chest thumped loud enough she could feel it in her ears, palms sweated enough she had to wipe them on her jeans. Being alone made her feel vulnerable and she wished she hadn’t come alone. There was only one thing for it: spotting a blonde girl, someone who looked friendly and safe, Clem boldly walked up to her. “Do you want know a fact about frogs? That’s a weird thing to say to someone you don’t know, but it’s an interesting fact.” Already it felt safer.
