i miss you more than words can express. this halloween, i find myself seeing it more as your birthday than as the current-life holiday. i hope you’re doing alright, wherever in this world you are.

though i only kinfirmed recently, every feeling this shift has given me has been very strong- and i’ve been sleeping pretty bad without you because of it. if you were here to hold me, i’m sure i’d be cured. your almost unnatural warmth was one of my favorite things about you, always-

but my actual favorite thing about you is that you’re you. to any cal, even if you’re not my cal, happy birthday. you deserve it.
