park shinhye’s new horror thriller ‘call’ on netflix is good... It’s sad and awful, but it’s interesting and intriguing. It’s also really gruesome. one of the better thrillers I’ve seen in the recent while. this is a spoiler but basically, shinhye goes back to her childhood home and starts receiving phone calls from a girl pleading for help. this mysterious girl keeps on calling her and mistaking her for someone else. later, they realize that they’re connected and they’re both living in the same house. shinhye in the present, the girl, youngsook in the past. they become friends, but soon realize that things they do and say to each other can affect both their lives. something that started out as innocent leads to something much more malicious and heartbreaking. I’ll say as much as there, but it’s definitely a movie I would recommend if you frequent the the genre I often post about
