Struck out on a third full call shift in a row. Probably for the best. Though I am still on call, so I may have to go in. So I’m currently being paid to be at the gym. Pretty sweet deal. Also I won’t get the baby back that I had the last two nights. Their cry was… not my favorite.
I don’t love my assignment, but the one I had for my week on had a nurse that will be here for the next two. Boo. 👎 Mine isn’t terrible. I just really hate my one baby’s cry. The other one is chill though. Just my little man in a box.
I did not nap. Waiting on the call that they need me at 1900 that I’m sure will come since they only don’t call when I am able to nap.
How do they know?!

I thought for sure I was going to get called in for my call shift tonight. So when I got home from walking the pup and the power went out, I made do with what food I could make in the dark with a headlamp on. The power came back on just as I finished eating. I slept all day, I wasn’t called in, and I just had snacks for dinner.
Fun Saturday. But I am watching the Kristin Stewart holiday movie on Hulu, I am going to hold my judgement until I it’s over.
I signed up for a call shift tonight via text early this afternoon and I didn’t get called in. I’d be more upset if I didn’t have this stupid headache. I could still potentially be called in... we will see. Just figured I’d take advantage of another double time shift in case they don’t extend double time again... because I’m greedy.
