fun facts about CALLA <3:

his mom and grandparents raise chickens for a living. calla loves chickens very much, which translates to being able to eat them (he likes fried chicken)

he eats a lot of "peasant food" aka food that's easy to get ingredients for. for him it's a LOT of chicken, potatoes, and bread. he's open to trying new foods as long as he can afford it!

he picked his name to match his mom (rosamynn) and his grandma (aster) (calla is a type of lily!!!)

he LOVES expressive people and his friends tend to be people who wear their hearts on their sleeves. the one exception to this rule is lia (the smiler), but he actively spends a lot of time around her so this is allowed.

calla actually has very little magic. he's VERY versatile with how he uses it, so what he lacks in mana he makes up for in creativity. he also has a very very good manasense.

his hearing aides were purchased with funds from the chicken farm. most of his pay the first few years he was a magic knight went to paying his mom back :) he still sends money tho

he took the magic knights exam twice! the first time he didn't have any hearing aides and held up a really good performance by following along with everyone else in the exam. this backfired during the combat section though.

calla does not exactly know about jack's reputation as The Crazy One and actively challenges him because he's seen lia, en, and alary do it and get away with it. he will still run screaming if jack pulls out the blades though. not everyone has lia privileges.

he is actively lying about being a commoner . he's a peasant !!
