B-lining it for the growing echo of grinding gears & sheared wires being sparked to life. Mask down and knife at the ready as he splashed through the slick mud & putrid smelling reeds that festered with decay. He could feel the adrenaline pumping through his veins as the thrill of the hunt took hold & his mind dashed between the thoughts of just who his first kill could be.

Slowing his pace, he rounded a corner to bring the noisy generator into view. Far from surprised when no one was there. Hand resting gently on the violently shaking machine he reached inside & up into the belly of the machine. Tearing out a single pipe that permanently silenced it and offered him silence to listen.

The curse came easy from her lips, frustration evident in her tone. There was always a Wheeler, but thankfully it wasn't Mike. Or Ted. Ted probably would've been worse in this scenario and she was a little relieved it was Nancy.

But it didn't completely ease the guilt and shame she felt. Lockpicking wasn't exactly her specialty but it was something Billy taught her long ago and she had to admit (albeit begrudgingly) it came in handy sometimes. "Nancy, this isn't what it looks like..sort of." A piss poor defense.
