We are looking for poems inspired by the the themes of this Wilfred Owen classic, where verses of delightful spring stand in contrast to the desperation and horrors of strife, wherever in the world that might be. Poetry, to some, can be the connecting thread that encompasses everything, where every observation about the internal OR the external world becomes something personal. Something autobiographical. In “Self portrait”, we are looking to publish poems in which you, the poet, definitively find yourself. The best thing about self portraits is it gives an idea as to HOW the artist perceives themself. We are looking for poems that reflect the same idea.
