A Queer Speculative Fiction Anthology in Support of Trans Rights

Queer joy. Queer rage. Queer resilience.

Eight speculative fiction stories by queer Albertan writers explore these themes and so much more. Dive into fantasy, science fiction, alternative history, and paranormal tales starring characters such as knights, mages, a bisexual cowboy, a necrobotanist, a grumpy (and heroic) Scottish lesbian, and Edmontonian high schoolers fighting the arachnid threat.

In tumultuous times, queer people come together and persevere-whether in fiction or real life.

This is a charity anthology with 100% of the royalties being donated to a trans affirming legal fund to defend queer rights in Alberta.

Almost every pitch I read for Warped has something compelling at its core that I know would make for a short story that sits with you for a long time after you're done... but for them to be finished, we need your support to pay all the trans writers we'll be including! We have less than 2 weeks to raise the 80% remaining of our goal.

Warped will be a horror and sci-fi anthology exclusively written and edited by trans writers, with a priority for transfeminine writers of global majority.
