What are some of your OCs strengths?

Emotionally, people generally know: She’s kind, learns new things fast (usually), thinks quick in a crisis, has that dragonmom streak. She’s very open when she meets new people, not really quick to judge unless you give her ample reason to, and she likes listening and learning about people. As far as her skillset goes, Calline is a fantastic, if cautious mage. She’s an excellent tailor and enchanter, the latter of which has helped speed along her runework, and when it comes to history, she’s a wealth of knowledge. Also, you know…literally very strong. I wonder how/why?

What are some of your OCs weaknesses?

Haha well. Emotionally, she tries too hard to keep everyone happy which, you know. Doesn’t work that way. As emotionally-driven as she is, Calline still tends to try and solve interpersonal problems logically, and people aren’t equations. She is constantly in her own head as far as her own self worth goes (self-esteem, so low, deep down), and tends to go a bit tunnel-vision when she’s tackling something new. Conversely, she can often get distracted in a fight and her attacks suffer. Dragon-wise, she can’t do pretty much anything most of her flight does/did. She still can’t cook much (she’s learning!), she loves fishing but is terrible at it, and cards, and sarcasm. Thought she was a paladin-killer, and now she’s in a love ampersand, what a dweeb. For a really smart person her choices are not always the wisest.

How does your OC feel about insects?

 She loves them! Bugs are so fun to study! So beautifully evolved and complex and some of them have glittering wings and…

…wait, is it 10 feet tall and trying to eat her? KILL IT KILL IT NOW.

✗ : Explain how they portray feelings of hostility or dislike.

 It depends. While she can be very expressive when it comes to affection, worry, or happiness, Calline is a person slow to anger. She will be cordial to people with whom she disagrees/has a bad history in public, as social norms dictate. She also tends to try and think rationally when unexpected discourse arises.

 But in the end, like anyone slow to anger, when it finally comes unhindered, her true nature shows. Anyone who rallied to enter the crypts after Alda saw this, saw the dark, stormy side of the mage, ready to fuck a bitch up.

☂ : Storms or clear skies?

Generally, clear skies! In case it weren’t obvious, Calline loves the sun, loves basking in it, baking it in, drawing warmth from it. Next time the company’s on a beach/in the desert, they’re gonna see a mostly-naked half-elf drinking in the sun like it’s water >.>

…That said, she appreciates a good storm, whipping and thundering and pouring, a boiling sky.

Calline blinks, nodding, turning, drawing in a deep breath. “Right,” She growls, her eyes changing, going green, reptilian. Normally, she kept this to the last minute. The last, possible, impossible moment, that’s what she kept this to, because of principles, even after her flight had lost such authority over her.

 This was different, though. This was a demon threatening to rip out the soul of someone she loved, a few someones, in fact. Her form shifts, grows, scales covering her frame from eyes to tail, to sweeping, wafting wings. She snarled, releasing a blast of arcane fire at the startled, shocked form before them, toasting him to a crisp.

 “Foooool!” She hissed, claws tearing the small, fell-infused human to pieces, “Fodder under my feet!”

Calline looks up sharply, narrowing her eyes at the fucking DART that’s torn through his leg. “I’m….I’m not a healer!” She blurts out, even as she hurries to his side, rummaging in her bag. She yanks out her first aid kit with shaking hands, gulping, looking him in the eye. The Light had killed the pain, stopped a lot of the bleeding, for sure, but still. SPIKE THROUGH HIS LEG.

 “You’re all I’ve got right now!” He shouts back at her, and Calline is shocked back to the present, nodding, using her strength to YANK the damn thing out of his leg. A shout, and a seal follows, searing the wound just before she wraps it up, her hands only a little singed. 

 Her hands are still shaking, looking at him. Did she do a good?
