Musicians, please read this (I need your help)...
Over the past ten years, Vox Concert Series has grown a scene for national and regionally touring emerging artists to perform their music, their way in Central Wisconsin. It’s experienced a lot of growth (and I’ve learned a lot) since our first concert with Epic Hero.
It appears that 2014 is going to be a year of growth and change -- starting with the passing of my mother in February and continuing with my pursuit of Vox Concert Series as a full time endeavour. This change gives me more time to dedicate toward growing our customer base, pursuing the goal of securing a venue of our own, and the pursuit of some additional projects I’ve had on the drawing board.
I’ve always wanted to do a mini-music festival. This one is a bit more special, as the goal is to host 2 consecutive evenings of concerts, featuring multiple musicians. The goal of this project is to:
Promote Vox Concert Series musicians
Raise funding to build our venue seed fund,
Raise money to contribute to a memorial scholarship in my mother's name at my former high school. This scholarship will help music program students (band and choir) that express a passion for music to fund (and complete) their education.
If this is a project that you would be interested in being a part of when held on November 14 & 15, please contact me via email at [email protected] or if you already know the other ways to get a hold of me, drop me a line.
I want this to become an annual event that showcases the talented musicians we work with, helps get Vox Concert Series in a venue of it's own, and most importantly raises money to fund the education of youth that share a common passion with us for music!
Thank you in advance for your time and I hope to hear from some of you!
