Last year, I tried to follow a flower theme for the whole year and looked up what flower represents each month. This year, having challenged myself with birds….please enjoy the bird of the month, an owl! Now obviously there are multiple types of owls…but we're going to keep this simple and just accept "owl" as the theme for January

Because the theme for this year is birds…you gotta include a fun facts page that I'm choosing to call the "Owlery of facts" - I will be including this every month as my final spreads. There are SO MANY OWL SPECIES but interestingly of the 25 genera, 2 fall into one family and the rest into another!
