This is random, but I was wondering, in your wonderful Amos fic, is there any particular reason that Mei's stuffed animal is a fox?

Yep!  I was just putting a little of myself in there - I have small fox stuffed animal. :3  Probably a plant or something from that cartoon they mention would’ve been better but eh. :)

I sat on this until I had time to properly read it. Man, SO good. I love the crew acting as a unit, and it all seems so natural. You don’t get that with many fics. I love the the connections with all the characters - especially Alex not being able to lose a brother. The connection through it all is wonderful.

I loved this. The Roci family moments, Amos' backstory and trying to protect others and getting hurt in the process, the difference between Lydia's concern for his safety/their relationship and Prax's. Mei's stuffed animal, everything. Lots of hurt but lots of comfort to make up for it.

Thank you so much, I love hearing the parts people liked.  The contrast between Prax and Lydia was my favorite part to write.

How I feel about this character: Ah man. CREDENCE YOU DESERVE GOOD THINGS. >.< The neediness of his character really, really gets under my skin. This desperation he has for touch and affection and acceptance and understanding, and the complete lack he is given, the betrayal of thinking he has it and then having it ripped away as a lie. Also the whole obscurial thing is fascinating. He's got so much self loathing and fear and control issues and hatred simmering underneath everything that it's super appealing and super appalling. Add in the sheer power of the obscurus, the power and abilities at his disposal and the way he can destroy, the level of power over others that he suddenly has and how he might use that or struggle with not using it. The whole aspect of guilt he might feel – or might not feel – is really interesting too.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Pretty much just original Graves and Grindelwald, as Graves or not.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: HAPPINESS. I quite like Newt and Credence as friends.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Eh, idk? I guess maybe that I don't think Credence is all that innocent, but that's not really that unpopular.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Would happen – I really hope we get a lot more of him in future movies and that he finds some fucking happiness oh my god. Had happened? ANYTHING BETTER >.< That someone had seen what he was earlier and taken him away and treated him better. That Grindelwald hadn't been such a self absorbed idiot during THAT SCENE.

my OTP: Credence/Ambiguous Graves. Specifically Ambiguous because I like things that could work equally well whichever Grave sit might be, because that plays on the whole, how similar might they be even underneath what Grindelwald is 'playing'.

my cross over ship: none, really. Fright Night's Jerry is hot as fuck but crossovers are really hard for me to get into. Also I'm equally interested and uncomfortable with things that pull in Kevin.

a headcanon fact: There was totally some kissing in that alley. TOTALLY.

Oh yeah, I totally got that vibe when Graves was asking him about it! I can definitely ship it.

I know right. And the Geek History Lesson podcast about Dumbledore definitely implied it was a possibility. 

But right now it’s just you, me and that one person who wrote a 360 word fic in Mandarin. ;)

I’ve been in the BB fandom for years and witnessed absolutely no drama so far (I love to think it’s because Ben is so nice and polite himself so he brings out the best in us!) So thank you for your message, you made my day! And I can’t help but ship William/Logan after last week’s episode and THAT white shirt (damn, did he look good!)

Oh, God, I’m here for this! There are so many people I’ve never talked to, and would love to change that, it’d be amazing :P Especially now that Dominion’s off the air!

Yeah, I was thinking that even with Dominion cancelled, I wanted to stay in touch with fans. The show has been short-lived but the fandom’s been great, and I want to stick around in some way or another. I’m usually prone to drifting when it comes to fandoms? But...I’ve been going through a whole bunch of shows and stuff, and no, nothing’s fannishly grabbed me as much as Dominion did. :(

It’s a writing sprint. :D I’ve only done it once at a NaNoWriMo IRL meetup years ago, but it can be done online, too. Basically, you can have somebody just call out ‘GO’ and everybody starts writing; there can be a 20-30 minute timeframe or so. When the time’s up, people announce their word count, and it can kinda be viewed competitively or just announcing what you’ve achieved so far. It’s a motivation/challenge type of thing.
