It would be totally cute. Sam would tease Dean for a few days, Cas would act totally ok with this and then Sam finds out that it keeps happening, like Dean would totally fall asleep on propos just to cuddle with Cas.

It becomes this unusual tradition. The moment Cas sits down anywhere, or Dean, the other will appear shortly and sit down beside them, sitting close and tangling their legs together under tables, linking hands alone, cuddling late at night as they discuss the hunt or whatever they have planned over the coming days.

Sam used to tease, but now he smiles and just keeps walking. There’s no need to mess with a good thing. At least not yet. He’s happy to let them settle and get comfortable with it for now.

I don't have a good headcanon, but I like to think that Dean is a cuddler. I think Dean'll cuddle anything n any1 who gets in bed with him, and eventually he falls asleep on the couch with Cas n Sam, n Cas can't get up because Dean's all around him

dude, dean is absolutely a cuddler~and let’s be real, the moment cas even tries to move dean just grumbles in his sleep and tightens his hold on cas’s waist, trying to snuggle closer unconsciously. sam would give cas a look, but cas isn’t really bothered by it. he remains there happily until dean wakes up again, all the while rubbing his shoulder and/or petting his hair. :3
