there are several things on display, and trilla had to admit, she wasn’t sure if she was disturbed or impressed by the amount of gall that the hapans must have possessed to put some of these things on display. as they observed what was held out, an eye was also placed on those around, mildly surprised to see a familiar face casing the room. hm. they watched sabine briefly before deciding to approach. “does all this seem a little crass to you too?”

     A small smile crosses over her features at the other's words. There's no words that come from her lips at first, too taken aback by something she had no been expecting. There were plenty of things she could think of that deserved apologies, especially looking at her life with a far more clear of a perspective. She wished she had many times in turn to what she lost growing up under strict rule. "Thank you." She speaks, her voice light, catching a little at the edges of her spoken words. "I do believe we all have a lot to make up for to one another but one day, we will achieve doing that if we truly desire peace."

there was no doubt that sabine had certainly grown up in the years that he had been dead. kanan leaned back, offering a slight shrug of his shoulders. that was the way of the world. he had a choice in being a jedi and he had made that choice, was still actively making that choice, every day. a deep breath drew in through his nose, offering a solemn smile. “master billaba did everything she could to protect me.” he offered a simple response, not thinking too long or hard on it. “now i choose to do it.”

trilla’s relatively average in terms of valuing it. it’s important, obviously, but... they’re bad at it. they run away from hard conversations, hate to be vulnerable. by the average person, she’s extremely prone to being misunderstood and unless it’s with someone that they deem important, she won’t put in the effort to correct it. with the relationships that they do value, they’re an easier read which makes her easy to understand, but hiccups still happen. it takes her time to correct misunderstandings.
