Winona sat there staring at the door frame. The only thing missing from the frame was the door and she could easily see her dorm mates walking past her room. "Lovely." she mumbled quietly to herself. The whole point to lock herself inside her dorm room was so that she didn't have to participate during the prank week. How was she going to do that when she had no door? Rather than thinking about the downside, Winona realized she was going to have to play along and stay careful at the same time. While moving to her closet to pull out a new bed sheet, Winona looked around for some push pins that she could use. What she needed was her door back, but seeing that there was no point in crying over this, she placed the end of her bed sheet against the door frame and began pushing the pins up to hold the fabric. She did this until the entire top was secured and then let the bed sheet fall to the floor properly. At least this way, she'd be able to keep what little privacy she could keep. Turning back to her rabbit who was nibbling on some food, Winona bit the inside of her cheek. "You know what? Screw this." There was no way she was going to sit around in her dorm room all day while others began pulling pranks. Just a bit of harmless fun right? No harm could come out of this.
After a bit of searching, Winona finally found what she was looking for in one of the bottom cabinets. A gallon of blue food coloring and half a gallon of green food coloring. There was also a gallon of red food coloring, but Winona didn't bother with that. With the school colors, the red wouldn't do much difference. She was just glad the school had enough food coloring and after shoving the gallon of blue food coloring into her bag, Winona zipped it up and grabbed the gallon of green. Her back pack was suddenly heavy, but she could deal with the weight. She grabbed the slices of bread that sat on the table with her free hand before heading out. Instead of going back to her dorm room, Winona headed towards the small building--which honestly wasn't considered much of a building in the first place, just a small room that controlled the field's sprinkler system-- and tried the small door knob. She remembered seeing the janitor struggle with it, but it had opened so she knew it wasn't going to be locked.
Once she managed to get inside, Winona quickly shut the door and dropped her bag, relieved that the weight was off her shoulders. Winona wasn't really worried about getting caught, not when she knew that everyone was probably arguing over their missing doors and who knows what else. She did know that the boys lacrosse team was about to start practice within twenty minutes and she had to do this quick. Winona looked down at what was probably the main pipeline and knelt down so she could open it. After grabbing the green coloring, Winona twisted the top open before she poured the entire bottle into the pipe line. She set the empty gallon down and pulled her bag so she could pull out the blue food coloring. Alright, so she wished the colors were crazy, but it was better than just water. Once she emptied the contents into the pipe, Winona shut the valve before getting up. Winona looked up at the controls that were set against the wall and it wasn't so hard to figure out how to work it. Once she set the timer to twenty-five minutes, Winona grabbed her bag and the empty gallons of food coloring before pushing her way out. She quickly discarded the gallons in a near by trash can, before heading back towards the dining hall. She wasn't going to head back to her dorm just yet, and she wasn't going to miss this. She had only seen this happen in movies, she hoped it actually worked;
Seating herself at the entrance of the dining hall, Winona watched and she waited. Within ten minutes time, the boys had gathered on the field, their coach following them. Winona felt bad for their coach who had no gear on. All he had on was a cap and the thought of the coach drenched in food coloring made her laugh. When she spotted her brother, she immediately regretted it. It was bad enough that Adrian was going to be targeted this entire week, and she had half the urge to go back to shut the timer, but another part wanted to watch. The view wasn't all that great from where she sat, so she decided to walk a bit closer. Winona ended up going out to the field and after ascending the bleachers, she took a seat at the top. That way, whenever the sprinklers came on, she was no where near them, and she'd be able to enjoy the show. Unsure of whether anyone had taken notice of her, she was just glad she wasn't the only one there. A few girls sat at the bottom, ogling the players and all Winona could do was grin.
Winona wished she had set the timer to ten minutes rather than twenty, but she bit her lip in anticipation while she waited. It wouldn't be as fun seeing that all the players were in their lacrosse gear, although they didn't have their helmets on just yet. At this point, Winona wished she had a book or something so she didn't look like an idiot just sitting there and staring. However when Adrian looked up and waved, all Winona could do was wave back and feel even more guilty. Luckily she didn't have to wait any longer because just as the coach had all the boys huddled up on the field, even Nick, the sprinklers came on surprising many. The coach could be heard whistling, as if that would catch everyone's attention and it took a good few minutes for the boys to realize that it wasn't water. While everyone did their best to cover their face and move out of the way, all Winona could do was laugh.
The poor coach tried to shield his face with his clipboard but his shirt was stained a dark blue due to the mixture. Many of the boys had made their way off the field, but that was after they realized the sprinklers were spurting out color rather than water. After ten minutes of laughter, whistling and yelling --mostly from the coach-- the sprinklers were finally shut off. A few of the players were not so happy and she felt bad for them, but the sight was enjoyable. The coach, however seemed infuriated and only lashed at the boys which caused Winona to stop laughing. Instead, she began descending the bleachers to leave and as she got a closer look, she realized that everyone's clothes were drenched, and their faces were masked with a shade of blue, and the coach wouldn't let them go so they could clean themselves up. Well, at least no one's hurt was her thought before she pulled her backpack over her shoulder and left the field. It was a fun show, and she'd stick around a bit longer, but she didn't want to sit there listening to their coach.
Rather than heading back to her dorm room, Winona made her way into the art room. Seeing that prank week had just begun, she needed a few things from the art room. There was a lot of things she wanted to try out, but she also needed material, paint being one of them; Maybe being 'evil' wasn't so bad, but come to think of it, this was no where near evil. Just some innocent fun.
