Irritated was the absolute understatement of how Erin felt at the moment. She was furious, outraged, completely mental at how her hair was now stupidly ombred. From her natural dark locks to having dark blue-green tips. It was ridiculous. She'd watched prank week pass by, sat back as people pranked each other and she didn't even bother to try anything of her own. She'd had enough drama in her life to even bother try starting up any but this prank on her hair had her on fire. She didn't care if prank week was basically done. Fuck A, fuck the rules. Rule number one of prank week itself was: there are no rules. And none indeed, even the timeframe was nothing to her and she had one target in mind for her vengeance Adrian. She would have gone for Daisy or Celine but they were on her team, sad to say and she didn't want punishment from A that much.
She entered the so called King's bedroom unnoticed, most the boys had their sports on going at the moment and the man himself was on for lacrosse practice. She opened up the black trash bag she'd brought with her and stuffed in all of Adrian's clothes-shirts, trousers, socks, boxers, and even threw in a few of his branded perfumes and what not. She knotted the bag closed and dragged it all the way down and outside to the garbage dump by the boys' dorm, not caring if people noticed her which nobody seemed to do. She flung it to the dump and unscrewed the small container of gasoline she'd carried around with her, pouring it out and soaking it all. And of course, the final move, flicked open her lighter and watched the flame dance in front of her eyes before throwing it to the dump.
Long live the king. He'd just have to do it without his clothes.
It had been a long day for Erin. She didn't feel up to attend her last period class which was Math III so instead she decided to go to the art studio and get on painting. She hadn't done much painting in a while as she'd focused all her efforts on sketching to get the pieces done for the exhibit. It was good to handle colors after such a long time, it was nice on the eyes and fun to mix and create a picture of color instead of black and white. As usual, loud music played in her own little room as she did her work, losing herself to the art and sound.
Midway the painting she noticed that less light entered through the small window by the side and figured it was probably getting late. She set her brush down and stretched out her arms which were starting to get sore. She'd been at it for a few hours and it was time to stop. She grabbed her school bag and left, going back to her dorm where she found Dakota sprawled on her bed, looking over at negatives. They exchanged a few words before Erin went in the bathroom, stripping her clothes and entering the shower, letting the warm water run over her smooth, fair skin. She gently rubbed off the paint from her fingers, scratching them off her nails and what not then reached for her shampoo bottle. She didn't pay much attention when she squeezed out its contents into her palm, it was a usual action to her. She started spreading the shampoo from the bottom of her long, wavy, brown locks. Rubbing the tips as she usually did and before she even went up to the mid section of her hair froze as she noticed the water running down from her fingers wasn't translucent but more of a turquoise shade. Her eyes widened and she grabbed for her shampoo bottle again, twisting the cap off and peered inside to see the usual creamy color of her shampoo be replaced with the same turquoise shade. "What the fuck...," she slowly said and the words prank week came in. Her blood started to boil and she turned the shower off, grabbing her towel and looked at the mirror to see that the ends of her hair were a dark blue/green shade. She screamed.
"HOLY FUCK!" She yelled and stormed out the bathroom in nothing but her towel wrapped around her body. Dakota looked up from the negatives to stare at her best friend. "I've been fucking pranked!" Erin raged, grabbing a bundle of her hair to show to Dakota. "I look fucking ridiculous!" She couldn't believe this, it was immature and fucking stupid. "Babe, it's not that bad," Dakota tried to say but Erin shook her head. "It's HORRIBLE! I look like one of those fucking hipster-yolo-swagging girls! I mean, what the bloody hell?!" The anger was loud and clear in her voice and fuck it, she didn't even want to participate in the stupid prank week. She was planning to just sit by and watch everyone create their own mess but no, not anymore. She was going to get back.
William ditched class to go to shops to get the supplies needed. The cashier looked at him strangely when he payed for 4 litres of golden syrup and about half the stores green dye. William just shrugged, it was not like other students had not made stranger purchases than him. No one had those things used for the pranks just lying around in their dorm. There were no limits at Berkhamstead.
Arriving back at school, William got straight to work. Knowing that majority of students would be in class William headed to the bathrooms closest to the cafeteria. Finding a bucket he opened a soap dispenser and began to remove the soap. Once it was empty he began to refill it with the golden syrup. The next dispenser he left the soap in there but mixed in some of the green dye, making it as strong as possible. For the rest of the bathrooms in the building, William alternatively filled all the soap dispensers with golden syrup and green dye.
William walked to the large dumpsters near the back of the school to dispose of the evidence. If he was to get caught then his father would murder him. Even such a lame prank would not reflect well back on the family. It was not until William was back at his hiding place that he lit up one of his cigarettes. Lying back, William just hoped that the small prank would be enough to keep him out of trouble.
It was extremley rare to find Kylie angry, yet she walked down the dorm hallway and into her room with her fists balled and her cheeks as crimson as her hair used to be. She threw the little baggie of cookies into the waste bin, still tasting the bitter creme in her mouth. Messing with Kylies food meant trouble for whoever was involved.
Kylie wish she knew who did it, but she needed a prank for prank week and saw her anger as an opportunity. She wanted to prank Callum for all of the mean things he yelled at her at the dance, but she remembered sadly that they were on the same team. She then thought of Erin, someone she was quite jealous of actually. Not only was she beautiful, wild, and reckless, all things that Kylie admired, but she had the attention and admiration of Adam. Her nostrils flared as she pulled her bin of hair dyes from under her bed. She threw several bottles in her purse, and began walking to Erin's dorm room.
It was luckily open due to the fact that no one had doors anymore, and no one was inside. She crept to Erin's side of the room, and found where she kept her shower tote. ((People that share group bathrooms use them to take their bathroom stuff back and forth)) The angry blue haired girl pulled out her shampoo and conditioner, and dumped the dye in. To make it hold its color more without soaking on Erins scalp as long as it probably would, she also mixed food coloring in with the mixture and stirred first with the shampoo and next with the conditioner. The dyes color was bright, hulk green.
Putting the caps back on everything, she placed everything back where it was supposed to go and retreated from the room before she got caught. Slightly disappointed in herself, but also oddly happy, she went back into her own room for a celebratory snack.
Winona was glad that Taylor had agreed to helping her out. In fact, she was glad that the two were on the same team in general. Winona had no idea if her eyes had returned back to their normal color, but that was the least of her concern. Both girls knew to keep it quiet, and Winona internally thanked the person for taking off all the doors once again because they did not have to find a way to get inside. Pixie Snowdon's room was easy access for anyone and everyone and even though she was a bit disappointed that Daisy wouldn't be in the room, she didn't care much. In the end, Daisy will be coming back to a very messy room.
So far, so good.. she thought before flashing her phone just to get a glimpse of where the bed started and where the fabric of her pajama bottoms started. Winona spent about thirty minutes sewing Pixie's pajamas to her bed sheet so by the time she finished, Taylor had already managed to vandalize the room. While Taylor was finishing up with the yarn, hanging it from every corner of the room and making sure that it stuck with tape, Winona pulled out the honey from her bag. It really wasn't hard to steal from the kitchens at this point, and if the cooks were there, all she had to do was mention Henry and she had free access to basically everything.
Even though Winona's work on Pixie had been done roughly because the fear of Pixie waking up, she was still satisfied that her pajama bottoms were sewn onto the bed sheet. Although she wasn't able to finish the top half, Winona didn't bother much more. Instead she threw the thread roll and the needle back into her bag before picking up the honey. After popping the cap off of the honey, Winona began squeezing the bottle, allowing the honey to drip all over Pixie's top half before tracing the outline of her head with the honey on her pillow. Winona had to bite down on her bottom lip to keep herself from laughing.
As if that wasn't enough, Winona pulled out the chocolate syrup from her bag and began dripping the syrup all over her legs before carefully tucking her back in. Again, Winona had to stop for a moment to make sure Pixie wasn't waking up. When the blonde hadn't moved, Winona continued by squeezing all of the chocolate onto the carpet near the bed so when Pixie's feet touched the ground, well let's just say it wasn't going to be pretty.
Winona knew this was childish and immature, but at the same time, this was fun. Maybe being 'evil' wasn't so bad, as long as no one was getting hurt. After shoving the now empty bottle of chocolate syrup underneath Daisy's bed, Winona pulled out the half gallon of vegetable oil -once again, stolen from the kitchens because fuck logic- Winona twisted the top open and began emptying the contents over everything and anything really. Just because whatever the two blonde roommates were going to touch, it wasn't going to be great. Once again Winona discarded the empty vegetable oil underneath Daisy's bed and turned to Taylor. "Wait, for the last touch.." she kept her voice down low and pulled out a small binder from her bag. The papers inside had twisted a bit, but they were still fine.
Once she pulled out pictures of Adrian, a heart shaped around his face on every one of them, Winona began taping them beside Daisy's bed. "Will that make her seem like a creep?" she asked in a hushed tone before biting down on her bottom lip to prevent herself from laughing once again. As soon as they finished, Winona grabbed her bag and quietly walked out of the room. She was really hoping Daisy fell onto the mess they created, otherwise it wouldn't be as funny. Once the the two girls had headed down the hall and away from Pixie and Daisy's room, Winona finally spoke up. "I honestly can't wait what's in store for this school tomorrow."
It would have been a lot simpler if the person who had taken off the doors did the same for the faculty members. At least this way, Winona wouldn't have wasted twenty minutes, trying to find which key unlocked the main building after swiping it from one of the janitors. Honestly, who had the right mind to trust the janitors? They had the keys to every building, every classroom and as annoying as it was to have to find the right key, it was worth it in the end. Now that Winona was inside the main office, she quickly headed into the Dean's office. Seeing that it was really late, she was sure the professors and Dean were in bed so that gave her the perfect chance to head into the Dean's office. Once again, Winona had to stand there for another ten minutes, while trying to figure out which key unlocked the Dean's door. She needed professor Peterson's dorm room and she wasn't going to go around knocking on everyone's door until they answered.
Slowly, and carefully tilting the card towards the door knob, Winona played around a bit until she felt the card slide in a bit more against the bolt. Once she did so, she began bending the card the opposite direction of the door knob and with her hand gripped onto the handle, Winona gave a slight push when she was sure she had it. To her surprise the door had pushed open and Winona froze for a moment. If he was awake, she could grab her bag and run; When there was no movement heard on the other side, Winona stuck her head in to see that the room was dark and light snores could be heard. After shoving the credit card into her pocket, Winona reached for her purse and pulled out a ski mask, because she'd be stupid to do this without cover. Once she had the mask on, Winona grabbed her purse and walked inside. Her movements were slow and careful as she approached her professor.
What are you doing Winona? It's not too late.. Turn back, go back, you're going to get into a lot of trouble.. Yeah, you're an idiot. The small voice in the back of her head spoke and Winona ignored it. Instead, she placed her bag down and pulled out a couple of things. A razor and some shaving cream.. Yes, this was stupid and yes, she was going to get caught. Spraying some shaving cream onto her hand, Winona began spreading the cream across her professor's eyebrows. Her heart was racing, believing that any moment he would wake up to her touch which is why she paused. When he continued snoring, Winona grabbed the razor and slowly began shaving the hair. Once that was done, Winona wiped the remaining shaving cream on his bed sheet before applying some to his second eyebrow. In between, the snores had stopped and Winona felt that her heart would jump out of her chest. However, the trig professor went back to snoring and Winona finished what she had started.
Shoving the shaving cream back into her purse, Winona stood up and quickly walked back out, all the while pulling the ski mask off of her face. Once the door had been closed behind, Winona grabbed the keys she had placed on the floor earlier and quickly made her way downstairs. With the ski mask being shoved in her purse along with the set of keys in which Winona had no idea what to do about, she made her way out of the main building. The razor she held was thrown in a trash bin near by and the remaining contents that stuck to her hand only made her frown. The bathrooms were a mess so she wasn't going to step in there, and they all stank. So after wiping her hand with her pants, Winona made it back to her dorm.
Winona had no idea what the reactions would be, if Mr. Peterson would show up to teach class or not, but she couldn't wait for tomorrow. She was still wary, because A had asked for this. A part of Winona feared that in the end something bad would happen and she truly hoped that these pranks remained harmless.
Winona sat there staring at the door frame. The only thing missing from the frame was the door and she could easily see her dorm mates walking past her room. "Lovely." she mumbled quietly to herself. The whole point to lock herself inside her dorm room was so that she didn't have to participate during the prank week. How was she going to do that when she had no door? Rather than thinking about the downside, Winona realized she was going to have to play along and stay careful at the same time. While moving to her closet to pull out a new bed sheet, Winona looked around for some push pins that she could use. What she needed was her door back, but seeing that there was no point in crying over this, she placed the end of her bed sheet against the door frame and began pushing the pins up to hold the fabric. She did this until the entire top was secured and then let the bed sheet fall to the floor properly. At least this way, she'd be able to keep what little privacy she could keep. Turning back to her rabbit who was nibbling on some food, Winona bit the inside of her cheek. "You know what? Screw this." There was no way she was going to sit around in her dorm room all day while others began pulling pranks. Just a bit of harmless fun right? No harm could come out of this.
After a bit of searching, Winona finally found what she was looking for in one of the bottom cabinets. A gallon of blue food coloring and half a gallon of green food coloring. There was also a gallon of red food coloring, but Winona didn't bother with that. With the school colors, the red wouldn't do much difference. She was just glad the school had enough food coloring and after shoving the gallon of blue food coloring into her bag, Winona zipped it up and grabbed the gallon of green. Her back pack was suddenly heavy, but she could deal with the weight. She grabbed the slices of bread that sat on the table with her free hand before heading out. Instead of going back to her dorm room, Winona headed towards the small building--which honestly wasn't considered much of a building in the first place, just a small room that controlled the field's sprinkler system-- and tried the small door knob. She remembered seeing the janitor struggle with it, but it had opened so she knew it wasn't going to be locked.
Once she managed to get inside, Winona quickly shut the door and dropped her bag, relieved that the weight was off her shoulders. Winona wasn't really worried about getting caught, not when she knew that everyone was probably arguing over their missing doors and who knows what else. She did know that the boys lacrosse team was about to start practice within twenty minutes and she had to do this quick. Winona looked down at what was probably the main pipeline and knelt down so she could open it. After grabbing the green coloring, Winona twisted the top open before she poured the entire bottle into the pipe line. She set the empty gallon down and pulled her bag so she could pull out the blue food coloring. Alright, so she wished the colors were crazy, but it was better than just water. Once she emptied the contents into the pipe, Winona shut the valve before getting up. Winona looked up at the controls that were set against the wall and it wasn't so hard to figure out how to work it. Once she set the timer to twenty-five minutes, Winona grabbed her bag and the empty gallons of food coloring before pushing her way out. She quickly discarded the gallons in a near by trash can, before heading back towards the dining hall. She wasn't going to head back to her dorm just yet, and she wasn't going to miss this. She had only seen this happen in movies, she hoped it actually worked;
Seating herself at the entrance of the dining hall, Winona watched and she waited. Within ten minutes time, the boys had gathered on the field, their coach following them. Winona felt bad for their coach who had no gear on. All he had on was a cap and the thought of the coach drenched in food coloring made her laugh. When she spotted her brother, she immediately regretted it. It was bad enough that Adrian was going to be targeted this entire week, and she had half the urge to go back to shut the timer, but another part wanted to watch. The view wasn't all that great from where she sat, so she decided to walk a bit closer. Winona ended up going out to the field and after ascending the bleachers, she took a seat at the top. That way, whenever the sprinklers came on, she was no where near them, and she'd be able to enjoy the show. Unsure of whether anyone had taken notice of her, she was just glad she wasn't the only one there. A few girls sat at the bottom, ogling the players and all Winona could do was grin.
Winona wished she had set the timer to ten minutes rather than twenty, but she bit her lip in anticipation while she waited. It wouldn't be as fun seeing that all the players were in their lacrosse gear, although they didn't have their helmets on just yet. At this point, Winona wished she had a book or something so she didn't look like an idiot just sitting there and staring. However when Adrian looked up and waved, all Winona could do was wave back and feel even more guilty. Luckily she didn't have to wait any longer because just as the coach had all the boys huddled up on the field, even Nick, the sprinklers came on surprising many. The coach could be heard whistling, as if that would catch everyone's attention and it took a good few minutes for the boys to realize that it wasn't water. While everyone did their best to cover their face and move out of the way, all Winona could do was laugh.
The poor coach tried to shield his face with his clipboard but his shirt was stained a dark blue due to the mixture. Many of the boys had made their way off the field, but that was after they realized the sprinklers were spurting out color rather than water. After ten minutes of laughter, whistling and yelling --mostly from the coach-- the sprinklers were finally shut off. A few of the players were not so happy and she felt bad for them, but the sight was enjoyable. The coach, however seemed infuriated and only lashed at the boys which caused Winona to stop laughing. Instead, she began descending the bleachers to leave and as she got a closer look, she realized that everyone's clothes were drenched, and their faces were masked with a shade of blue, and the coach wouldn't let them go so they could clean themselves up. Well, at least no one's hurt was her thought before she pulled her backpack over her shoulder and left the field. It was a fun show, and she'd stick around a bit longer, but she didn't want to sit there listening to their coach.
Rather than heading back to her dorm room, Winona made her way into the art room. Seeing that prank week had just begun, she needed a few things from the art room. There was a lot of things she wanted to try out, but she also needed material, paint being one of them; Maybe being 'evil' wasn't so bad, but come to think of it, this was no where near evil. Just some innocent fun.
