#Book 1 in the #23booksin2023 #challenge #CallUsWhatWeCarry by @amandascgorman I #read more than half of it on the plane during my day trip to Vegas for Afta Shock last month but did not get to read the rest til the new year. You can’t really speed read a book of #poems & really get substantive value out of it. Lots to mull over for sure. I generally prefer to read memoirs & comedic mysteries to escape, but I enjoyed this book. It will be passed on to my goddaughter who loved the children’s book version of #TheHillWeClimb that I gifted her last year.
