I expected this from US healthcare - but Canada? Boo.

I expect it's the conservative powers in Canadian federal government trying to shove in US-style blocks to benefits (where we 'save money' and are 'fiscally responsible' by spending more person-hours denying people healthcare than the care would've cost in the first place. See also: Drug testing welfare recipients), plus the US doctor wanting any chance to bill (hence the office visit).

Well you see, all my sweat manages to migrate between my boobs, where it collects in the band of my sports bra, like a dam. A disgusting, sweaty dam.

....I have an odd picture in my head right now...

Anyway, it's basically my face and arms - if I don't wipe them down every 7-10 minutes, I'm dripping on the floor/machine. I don't expect anyone else to sweat at near that rate, but still... Most people do at least 30 minutes of cardio at a time, and I just don't get how they don't get to that 'need to wipe myself down' point that I do, at least once.

You're from Illinois? Oh man. I just HAVE to respond to that one. Not a lot of love for my neighbors to the south, but you seem to be ok ;) Your stereotype? Terrifyingly bad drivers.

Bad drivers?Sadly true and seemingly state-wide. It's much less stressful to walk/CTA if you go to Chicago (and if you're a visitor, the CTA has day/3 day/week passes for unlimited rides that are relatively inexpensive and honestly worth it - Chicago has a GREAT bus/train system that's easy to understand for visitors*). If you go out of it....well, If you ever want to commit vehicular suicide, try going less than the speed limit when you're trying to merge onto the Dan Ryan. You WILL get run off the road. The most mind-boggling Illinois driving behavior I've seen comes from Springfield, though, for all the flak Chicago drivers get. It's the only place in the state where I have had MULTIPLE people try to turn the wrong way down a one lane turn lane while I was going the right way. That happened no less than three times in one year, and all with different drivers. Utterly baffling.*Not like New York. Jesus, New York subways seem impenetrable to me unless you know what neighborhood you're going to, which I don't. Chicago's maps actually show the streets you're hitting and the view from the el is pretty neat-o.

Haha do you want the literal definition or the cultural definition? Because I run a prep blog.

I guess I want to know Tumblr's definition of it. I don't think literal would be real helpful. Urbandictionary it pertains to high school-esque clothing and lifestyle, but I've seen plenty of people on here in their 20's posting things as 'prep'.

THANK YOU for that "stop breeding for color" post. I left my previous trainer due to her switching to breeding for color. To this day I cannot even pretend to be nice to people who say anything about the subject.

Good for you for doing that, I can't stand color breeders either. Color breeding seems to be the only priority to people these days.
