Something about the fact it’s not even Brennan just playing it up before the big reveal, but instead Lou earnestly roleplaying Amethar’s devotion to and trust of Cal… toxic yaoi of all time

Headcanon that Cal had the daggers made to resemble Judgement. He’s convinced everybody, including himself, that it’s because he wants the king to die by the King’s Sword, killed by his own poor Judgement. What he doesn’t realise is that when you stab someone in the back, you are the only one who sees the knife
