Actually the best character trope is a girl who also happens to be a giant lizard with extremely violent and destructive tendencies who is framed as the villain in every context, but through close examination it’s apparent that her very existence was a mistake made possible through gross chemical and biological malpractice, only to then be abandoned or abused by her creator and left to fend for herself in a world not made for her. Due to the circumstances of her birth, the treatment she received in critical stages of her development, or the fact that she is living in a world completely unlike anything her instincts were built to navigate, she spends all of her life lost, confused, and scared, until eventually, the very people that brought her into the world just as soon label her a monster and spare no expense to get rid of her. Bonus points if her body is unstable and each movement hurts as much as the last.
