Society needs to be balanced. Sciences are important, literature is important, business is important, etc. Everyone has a role to play. If we all pick what we love, engage it fully, and have respect for the choices of others who engage fully in what they love, it is all valid. Where would society be if writers did not understand science and could not explain to us why science is so cool? Where would writers be without scientists who invent paper and ink and laptops? That's this blogger's view.
