To finish off my chaotic day.
A first year heifer we thought didn't take turned out was having some serious dystocia because her calf was so big. Dad eventually got the calf pulled by himself and momma didn't start licking it until the rain came through. I decided it definitely needed fed because it had shallow breaths and eyes rolled back. After 3/4s of a bottle it was fighting us and holding it's head up. Animal Science major classes have been to use all in a day's work and a job well done.
