How to Navigate Online Dating and Attract the Right Women 👉 Get More Matches Today
1. Get your favorite flowers. $5 flowers from the market, how can you beat that? They make my space feel happy and every time I look at them I smile :)
2. Find your favorite way to make your coffee. Do you have a favorite creamer? Have you ever tried adding a pinch of cinnamon or a dash of agave? Experiment until you’ve found your favorite way and then you will love to start your day!
3. Paint your nails. This is so relaxing to me! Plus if you have a job that requires typing every time you look down you’ll see your cute polish! This is my current favorite color: http://rstyle.me/~9KXBG
4. Give yourself 10 extra minutes to get ready. This can mean applying moisturizer, making a healthier breakfast, or just simply journaling. That little 10 minutes can add a whole lot of peace to your busy day.
5. Spend time in devotions every morning. I like to read and pray in the morning. Currently I’m reading through the book of Exodus. I just found this new Bible and I’m in love: http://rstyle.me/n/ch7qaabv7mp
6. Only compliment yourself. Brighten your day by focusing on your positives rather than your negatives. When you look in the mirror only listen to the voice that is kind and up lifting. God made you beautiful!
7. Find your go to afternoon pick me up. Maybe it’s reading your favorite book or grabbing an iced coffee or treating yourself to your favorite pastry! Find simple ways to bring enjoyable moments into your day.
8. Take your pup for a walk. This is so de-stressing for me and always brightens my day! If you don’t have a dog then take yourself for a walk. Lace up your workout shoes and put on your favorite hat ( how cute is this one: http://rstyle.me/n/ch7qqzbv7mp ) and go for a walk around your neighborhood! Walking is such a simple way to brighten your day.
9. Sit in the sun without anything to do. This is a Saturday favorite for me. There’s nothing like feeling the warmth of the sun and looking at all of the beautiful flowers that are saying hello now that it’s almost Spring! Feel the rays hit your skin and just breathe. :)
10. Eat without being on your phone. Savor every bite. Enjoy your meal without being distracted. Take time to actually eat mindfully.
11. Find your favorite coffee table book and read a page every day. There is this little book that I like to read that just simply makes me smile. It has little sayings like this, “Dear Airplanes, Thanks for the hours of uninterrupted time. I read more and write more on you than I ever will at home or anywhere else. Also, I like the way you shake me when there’s turbulence. I don’t get scared, I think it’s kinda fun. Thanks again.” It’s a book called Thx Thx Thx: thank goodness for everything and it’s simply my favorite. http://rstyle.me/n/ch7q4wbv7mp
12. Always do a “little thing” every day. Whether that’s putting on a face mask, lighting your favorite candle or watching your favorite show (Pretty Little Liars is coming on again in April YESSS!!!). Those little things are important, don’t neglect doing them. My favorite face mask: http://rstyle.me/n/ch7rf5bv7mp My favorite candle EVER ( even Bo loves it ) It’s the “Whipped Cream and Pear” from Anthro! http://rstyle.me/n/ch7rhhbv7mp
13. Stay hydrated. Taking care of yourself is a sure way to have a brighter day. Are you drinking enough water? If you’re having headaches or feeling low on energy it might be time to up the water intake. Buying a cute water bottle is a great way to stay sipping on water because you’ll never want to leave the house without it! How cute is this one http://rstyle.me/n/ch7rm5bv7mp ?!
14. Start using essential oils. There is nothing I love more than spraying my room with lemon essential oil after cleaning it! It makes me feel happy and makes my room feel fresh! Before bed I spritz lavender on my pillow and it always gets me sleepy. Lemon spray: http://rstyle.me/n/ch7rthbv7mp Lavender spray: http://rstyle.me/~81ueg
15. Unplug 2 hours before bed. This has not only brightened my days but changed my life. The last couple hours of my day are spent intentionally with the people that I love and myself. This time is for talking with my family, picking up my room, reading, journaling, and pampering my skin before sleep. I know that this will change your life :)
16. Nothing puts a damper on my day faster than comparing myself to someone else. I quickly start the pity party and then I’m feeling jealous and just plain sad. When I start to compare I immediately pray. I ask that God would bless that person in all they do. Then I thank God for all He has given me and I squash the jealousy monster fast. Keep your eyes on your own lane and your day is sure to stay bright.
17. Drink out of a cute mug. It’s always the little things that truly bring sunshine to my day. I love sipping my morning coffee out of my favorite mug. PS is this not the cutest coffee mug you’ve ever seen?! http://rstyle.me/n/ch7sfvbv7mp
18. Make time for a sweat sesh. You know me, I’m all about taking care of my body and telling you to take care of yours ;) Seriously a 1 hour workout is only 4% of your day! So go for a sunset walk, hit up the gym, or go for a hike. Those post workout feels will surely brighten your day!
19. Throw your PJs in the dryer for a few minutes before bed. Nothing like getting cozy by slipping into toasty warm pajamas :)
20. Be present. I’ve found that really intentionally listening to people brightens my own day. Be present with others and with yourself. Give your undivided attention to people who are talking to you. Drive without music and just pray. Stop checking your phone every five minutes. Being present isn’t difficult it just requires some intentionality.
