Work never used to drag on like this, but then again, it was rare that he was actually looking forward to seeing someone like this. The need to see Camden was like an itch that started in the pit of his stomach and only laying eyes on the other would be able to make the feeling stop. He passed his current customer a cup of coffee and a smile before glancing at the clock-- he was finally free. It took him two minutes to remove his apron, clock out, and fix his hair in a way that didn’t look like he had been wearing a hat for the last six hours. Max stepped outside, inhaled and grinned wide when he met eyes with the person he had been waiting all day to see. After a few seconds of staring, he approached and gently brushed shoulders with his sort of kind of boyfriend. “Hey,” he says with a grin that he can’t hide. “I hope I didn’t keep you waiting long.”
