#camdonna: i'm not in love
Cameron/Donna - Scott Street
sometimes I think capital R Representation is an authors worst enemy
like I'm just thinking about Halt and Catch Fire (again) in which two straight (AFAIK) white men wrote the most compelling love story between two women I've ever seen, and they never state their sexuality, they never say "I love you", they never even kiss. but the love is there and it's undeniable
I don't know if the writers set out to write Cam and Donna as a couple but they definitely wrote it as a romance. and it's so romantic. they meet, they hate each other, they work together, they fall in love, they hate each other again, they meet again, they're still in love like they never stopped. the emotions are so big and so deep
would they identify as bisexual? Cam might, I'm not sure Donna would. are they? maybe? you'd have to ask them. do they Experience Romantic Attraction In Accordance With Their Sexuality? Who knows. are they in love? unquestionably
CAMERON HOWE ICONS!
like/reblog if you like/save it!
had a dream that Halt and Catch Fire was renewed for a 5th season, which consisted of one episode, where gordon (!) shoots cam with a handgun (???) and then cam dies in donna's arms as donna tells her she loves her.
