Yet another Classic Who-inspired drabble for today’s @flashfictionfridayofficial prompt!

think of me

There are many rooms in the TARDIS, and some of them are inhabited only by memories.

In one, there’s a bed with a worn stuffed panda; in another, a dusty set of bagpipes.

And deep within the ship’s interior — nourished by artificial sunlight, filled with plants one might have found in the Aztec Empire — is a garden which no one but the Doctor has ever seen.

He goes there occasionally, to his secret Garden of Peace, when he needs some serenity. He sips cocoa, fingers an ancient brooch, and keeps the promise he made, so very long ago, to Cameca.
