this is not going to be a review because i honestly have no idea how to review illustrated books yet, but i'm going to recommend a book called "how to own a corner" by jimmy liao. for my italian readers, the italian title is "in un angolo di mondo" and it is published by camelozampa.
i do not have much to say about this book, but i find it incredibly comforting. i have been going through a really rough patch, and for the past few days i've kept going back to it whenever i feel hopeless. it was lent to me by my professor, but i'm going to buy my own copy soon because it is just that special.
if you're looking for a moment of peace, do yourself a favor and get this book. it's getting me through some of the rawest emotions that i've experienced so far. and it is beautifully written and illustrated. that's all. i just wanted to share this little jewel i found with the internet. i'm going to post a couple of pages under the cut, for anyone who wants to get an idea. sending much love to you all. <3
