Examine! A security camera
Point and shoot click adventure ll Accepting
It’s a security camera.
A device used to monitor merchandise, private property, and so on. Generally placed in the corner of an establishment for the greatest viewing angle.
This one is a fancy dome shaped camera on the ceiling above the shopping aisle. An extensive period of time on The Internet following a dispute with a homeowner after sleeping on their property educated you on the device. It took you some time to navigate from a regular camera (a device used to take pictures) to the recording device in your searches.
They make stealing a lot more complicated than it was back home, but not so complicated that they were unavoidable. No one ever noticed you stuffing items in your pocket before you learned what they were, leaving you to believe that most “security guards” didn’t care about their jobs.

Fuck you, camera.
