Mnghhhh I need Caine to ask Pomni to just. Carry around a piece of his red dot core for a bit. Just a lil piece. Like a golf ball but squishy. Soft but in the way old tv static is

Pomni does, because holy shit That Is A Lot Of Trust, and uh. She kinda treats it like a stress toy? A fidget toy? After a while of it being in her pocket it starts to get warmer and she absently thinks its just her body heat transferring, forgetting the fact that they're digital models and that sort of physics hasn't been implemented yet.

But then she meets up with Caine at the end of the day and um. He's a hot mess. Top shirt buttons undone, sleeves rolled up, a permanent floating blush.

The pieces fall into place and Pomni teases him about it relentlessly

"I JUST WANTED TO BE WITH YOU I SWEAR I DIDNT KNOW THIS WOULD HAPPEN--"

"Oh yeah, sure, so you didn't know that if I did this--" she slowly squeezes the ball, dragging her thumb across the smooth, warm surface. "You'd practically drop to your knees?"

He was legitimately oblivious he had no idea it could do that but now they both know about this lil quirk of his digital anatomy and they're going to be experimenting A Lot
