Review of camiane's The Perfect Wedding Mask
camiane is a fine Korean brand that is focused on how to bring out the natural beauty of the skin. They are working to find the best solutions with the experience of experts. Their mask, The Perfect Wedding Mask is a two-part mask. The first part is a peel-off mask and the second part is a soothing sheet mask that's designed to smooth skin and boost its natural radiance. Key ingredients for peeling mask: 1,000ppm of gluconolactone (gently exfoliating, skin conditioning, ideal for sensitive skin) and panthenol (penetrates deeply into the skin, hydrating, helps to infuse water into the cells, moisturizing). Key ingredients for sheet mask: 1000.0083ppm of sodium hyaluronate (anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, hydrating, moisturizing, healing), 10.0166ppm of hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid (designed to easier penetrate the skin, stimulates collagen synthesis, moisturizing) and 0.83ppm of hyaluronic acid (retains moisture, aids collagen synthesis, anti-aging). This mask has two parts (as stated above).
The first part is the peel off mask and that comes in a cute diamond drop shape.
This peel off mask contains 4 grams (0.14 oz) and has a slightly sweet, pleasant skincare scent.
The sheet mask contains 26 grams (0.91 oz) and has a slightly musky skincare scent.
The peel-off mask is like most others, it's sticky and clear.
It takes about 15-20 minutes to dry down and peels off pretty easily without pulling on hairs.
The masks material is very soft and clings well to the skin. The eyes, nose and mouth holes all fit pretty comfortably. I did notice that the masks essence did make the mask slide around my face a little bit though.
Recommended use for the peeling mask: open the upper part of the mask and pull out the filler pack and then fold over the cover line. After cleansing face, apply the pack to the entire face, avoiding the eyes, eyebrows and mouth area, be careful to avoid hair. After about 20 minutes when the mask is completely dry, peel off gently from the edges. Recommended use for the sheet mask: Open the sheet mask portion and pull out the mask, apply it over the entire face, attaching it to the curves of the face. Wear for 10-20 minutes and then remove. Pat remaining essence into the skin. After using, the peel off mask was effective and did not pull on my baby hairs or skin too much, so I really do think this is ideal for people with sensitive skin or who just want something gentle to use. The scent is noticeable but not too strong and I personally really enjoyed the scent. The packaging is also quite beautiful. The sheet mask had a nice fit and it did slide a little bit but it stopped after a little bit. The scent is kind of strong and slightly musky. The essence was very nourishing and deeply moisturizing. It soothed any irritation or redness in my skin and the results last over 24 hours. This is also quite a nice mask to use before big events (i.e., wedding) and under makeup, because it's so nourishing and moisturizing, it leaves a very smooth base. I'd recommend this to anyone with very dry skin or aging skin or if you want a very special mask for something big.
What I like: the peel off mask is so gentle and it does a good job of exfoliating and removing dead skin without irritating my face. The ingredients are lovely and effective and the packaging is pretty. The sheet mask is so nourishing and moisturizing. It's really everything you could want in a mask. The ingredients in the mask are also really nice quality and the peel off mask has a pleasant scent. The effects of both are long lasting, over 24 hours and my skin remained even toned and hydrated long after using. What I don't like: the fragrance on the mask isn't my favorite, but an otherwise wonderful mask.
