Great project a few years back. Huge 1/2 wrap around deck. 11 ft off the ground. We had to use a jackhammer to dig some of the holes, the earth in this area up on dry creek very hard in spots. The customers went with number 1 kiln dried doug fir, we hand picked a lot of the lumber mostly 20ft legth. Overall deck size 800 sq ft. #durability #gracevycorplus #camodeckfasteners #grkfasteners even though it was just kiln dried doug fir we still applied #gracevycorplus to every joist & stairs. What made this project interesting was the pool was unlevel side to side. So building a deck this close to a every changing pool & ground was concerning to me, although the customers understood. #viewsfromwork very quiet & fun to work.
