Everyone else on the island: freaking the fuck out
Nikki, meanwhile: living her absolute best life
The Quartermaster, a mysterious man on the SS Campbell who washed ashore perfectly fine and unharmed on the island where the rest of the camp crashed on.
Everybody on the island: having the worst time of their lives
Nikki, meanwhile: #thriving
(I have a whole ass disclaimer bc I can already smell the anons that’ll come after my ass for drawing Neil wrong (well, I drew everyone else badly, so there u go have a DAMN field day))
Anyways, sensory overload induced rampage aside, here’s another go at that deserted island/castaway esque au I made when I was a teen that we don’t need to talk about bc it was major cringe :/
I’ll hopefully go into more detail, but for now, I have the concept art on the trio and “counselors” who will not be counselors in this au bc it’s not a camp (yet)
Quick plot rundown: When the S.S Campbell cruiseship gets into trouble and starts to wreck, passengers David and Gwen manage to rescue all of the children aboard the ship before it goes down, taking the rest of the passengers with it. They all wake up to find themselves stranded on a desserted island, and there seems to be little hope for rescue, so David and Gwen need to put their survival skills to work in hopes of somebody eventually finding them one day.
Camp Castaway??
So in this au, David and Gwen are these traveling counselors for refugee camps around the globe from an organization ran by none other than Mr. Campbell.
David and Gwen are married (Or dating. They’re together and the adoptive parents of Max (Maybe he was a refugee himself?? Who the hell knows))
Things go to shit with Cam, and he’s in great debt. His plan to get out of dept? Kill some of his employees to collect their insurance money.
He ends up sending them to their next camp, but in reality, they’re being sent on a trip with a planned crash. They thankfully survive the crash, but that is, after they’re assumed dead.
