”It’s the first camp shirt I got when I went to YMCA Camp Shaver in 2000, which is not the year the shirt was made, but they sold it at the Camp Store and I thought it was cool… um but I was ten years old when I got this shirt and I just held onto it. I went to that camp every summer until high school and then after high school I worked there until the year after I graduated college. I was a Y kid all the way. I volunteered with my local branch and I worked at the day camp and I worked at Camp Shaver. After my first summer, I was promoted to head counselor and then I was the CIT Director and then I ran the Christian Leadership Program. And there was a time where camp was everything and I wanted to do it for the rest of my life and …things didn’t go that way but, camp is such an important part of who I am and like everything I learned about how to be a person, I learned from camp in some way. So I held onto this shirt and I wear it like all the time and its my favorite.”- Jenni
