getting squirted with water,,

playing the world's worst game of ping- pong,,

i miss camp... it was amazingg

Camp 2011

Colin, Andy and myself are sitting in the coaches lounge again 'relaxing'. We've not been run off our feet today but it is the length of our days that is taking it out of us. We've basically been managing money in and out of the tuck shop - which with 130 kids is a serious amount of money.

After lunch we open the tuck-shop and take the hot food orders for later in the evening, which I then phone in to the chippy in Largs. Today's order comes to £227 which is including the 8 large pizzas for the coaches. After that it is a long wait until dinner time where we open the tuck-shop again. The last opening of the tuck-shop is at 22:00 where we hand over the pizzas which the kids have bought. In between this we help out with any administration stuff which is needing done - A lot of creating spreadsheets and documents.

It's been such a good experience here and another camp to put on the CV (My third this year). I've met so many very knowledgeable people from Scotland and the USA. It is certainly something that I would have loved to have came to when 17 or so. Hopefully we have made a good enough impression on the Camp Director, enough that we get invited back next year. If there is a next year.
