Cruising through Eastern Germany, day 5: We stayed at lake Plau, rented a small motor boat and headed across the lake to the tiny village of Plau. In the evening we had a great BBQ at the lakeshore.
Cruising through Eastern Germany, day 4: Today we made it to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, famous for it's lakes. We decided to stay for 2 nights at the nature camp "Zwei Seen" in Zislow at lake Plau. Our pitch was situated directly at the lakeside. Rest of the day: Relaxing in the sun...
Cruising through Eastern Germany, day 3: Next station was Leipzig. We spent the day with sightseeing and visited an old friend and his family for BBQ-dinner. We spent the night on their driveway.
One night at the stables
Last Saturday my sister-in-law invited us for dinner. She lives in Lower Bavaria and we decided to stay overnight on the grounds of her riding stables. We enjoyed a wonderful starry sky, an absolutely silent night and woke up with horse view among a very autumnal landscape. And - what was important for me: Our glamper's heater worked steady throughout the night...
"Fun in the countryside" - part 2
The next morning we could observe how the clouds disappeared more and more and the sun was prevailing. After breakfast we strolled a bit around the orchard before we left that peaceful place. First we headed to the farmstead to say goodbye and to buy some of their mouth-watering products (apple-currant juice, apple sauce and dry fruits).
Now it was time for a little action and we headed to the town of "Kelheim" for a boat trip and a hike.
