Hey, hello there! Want to say thank you for existing because your blog is seriously one of those precious Destiel Heavens for us fanfiction lovers! I've just finished reading 'Named' by McLachlan and I loved it. Q: Do you have any ideas for fics where Dean plays an important role in Heavens's present/future. 'Named' was really great at doing that, I love it when Dean's not just a tool. Keep up the nice work with your blog! :)
Hmm…for other fics that involve Dean working with angels/Heaven (him playing a pivotal role denoted with *), you should look at:
Exceptional Circumstances* (he’s important in terms of the apocalypse)
The Empire of the Lion and the Wolf*
Are You There, Dean Winchester? It’s me, God.* (I haven’t personally read this but the summary and title lead me to believe this may be relevant)
Unexpected Destinies* (Dean’s so important he’s practically a Mary Sue)
Seraphs and Phoenix Wings (sounds very angel focused but haven’t personally read it to know if it’s what you’re looking for)
Let the Altars Shine* (he’s important in terms of the apocalypse)
The Good Samaritan Rule (AU where everyone’s an angel and takes place all in heaven; Dean isn’t pivotal but thought you might like this)
These Are Not Real Problems (heaven fic; Dean and co. changing some things up)
Point Pleasant* (kind of…? he’s pivotal but not to all of heaven)
None of these measure up to Named as far as how pivotal he is, but Reaching As I Fall is up there.
