Another Day, Another Job. #camplyf #camp
Today at Work I convinced everyone to let us take the kids to see the kangaroos. Little did they know, I just wanted to hang out and play with them. This is Charlie. She loves apples and cuddles. #workinghardorhardlyworking #camplyf #kangaroo #charlie #mymate
Works not work when I have these babes 😍 #camplyf #workinghardorhardlyworking #mygals #babes

-Camp Lyf-
So the first session campers have left now and we gained our second round of campers for the next few weeks. How it works is that there are two different sessions for the camp, both three and a half weeks long. They both do the same program of activities; a three day rotation of different periods such as landsports, ropes course, waterfront, cooking and so on. There are also a few random days in the mixture such as "Peace, Love, Wico Day", Carnival, Trip Days and Wicopalooza. These are days where the kids just do something fun and get to hang out with each other and bond as bunkmates. Each evening there are different activities that the camp participates in as well. Sometimes the whole camp get together to watch a dance show or play, or sometimes they are divided into their age groups to do something more intimate like watch a movie or go to a social with a boys camp. This is a very brief synopsis of what happens at camp as in reality it can be a bit more hectic than this and takes a lot of planning to achieve. All in all I find camp lyf to be such a great time. It's pretty hard yakka because you are constantly looking after the girls and don't get too much time to yourself, but the rewards outweigh all of that. It is so amazing to see the girls learn a new skill, help out their friends, be leaders of camp, and love their summer home. I'm very excited to spend the next few weeks with some more kids and make the most out of the rest of my American summer! ☀️😝👍🇺🇸🐬
