Take a Dip

One of the things Thor had missed the most about Camp Marvel was the lake. Swimming had always given him a sense of freedom; being able to dive beneath the waters surface or cut through the glassy surface was liberating in its own way. He swam often year round at a college pool, but swimming in a lake was different. There were no walls to restrain him, and the fish that nibbled his toes made him smile. so once he got a chance, Thor slid into a pair of trunks and headed down to the waters edge.

"Hey Thor!" Sif called happily, pleased her longtime friend had arrived.

"Sif!" Thor exclaimed when he caught sight of his friend coming toward him, reaching out with open arms and pulling her into a firm hug. He hadn’t seen her for a while and he had missed her. After a quick squeeze Thor released her and looked at her grinning. "How have you been?"

"Hey Thor, welcome! How have you been?"

Thor stepped off the bus - at long last, he was free to move and stretch his legs after being in his cramped seat for so long - and he grinned as he looked around the camp. It was good to be back. Thor adjusted his duffle bag on his shoulder and made to walk away from the entrance when he heard someone calling him.

/Hey Thor, welcome! How have you been?/

Turning is head, Thor beamed when he saw Steve and extended his free arm to wrap around the older teen’s shoulders in a hug. “I am well, thank you.” He released his grip and pulled back to look Steve in the eye. “It’s good to see you again.”

Thor had met Steve before in previous years of camp. The two had talked a few times, and Thor was eager to strengthen his friendship with Steve over the summer, as he seemed geuinley nice.

You need to be more Flexible

Emma rolled out her mat before grabbing the steaming up of tea, freshly brewed. Contrary to what the others thought, Emma was excited for this year at camp. She'd discovered a true passion for teaching over the school year and was going to prove it to everyone she could be this fabulous and make a difference. 

setting the cup down Emma stretched out, doing a few deep breathing exercises when she heard the sounds of another. "You know, spying is so faux pas and a bit creepy darling...If you wanted to join me all you had to say was that." She didn't bother looking up from her position as she stretched out her legs.

Roll out the Red Carpet

A long exasperated sigh left the blonde's lips as she walked toward center of camp. This was the last place she wanted to be: being eaten alive by bugs, talking with the less privileged, and having to be nice. Pushing the blonde strands from her eyes, Emma looked around. A slight calm was laid over the camp, and it was surprising that there weren't pesky people running about throwing food or water.

Her bags were unpacked and she'd been smart enough to bring at least three months past in fashion. Who'd want these old things anyway. Tugging at the cotton camp tee Emma grumbled to herself. She'd seriously need to talk to the heads about upgrading.  Captivated with her own inner musings Emma didn't realized she'd bumped into a person.

A loud oof left her lips followed by. "Watch where you're going!"
