I’m looking for creative people who wants to join me in an amazing challenge called Camp NaNoWriMo. What is that, you ask? Well, in short, is a virtual, worldwide creating writing challenge. Two sessions are held on April and July every year. The rules are simple. You choose your own goal, either in words, pages, hours or lines, and you’ll have the whole month (July, in this case) to complete your project. The project can anything from a new story or a work in progress, editing, revision, or anything you like. When you sign up for Camp, you may choose to join a group of up to 20 writers, called a cabin. Each cabin, public or private, has its own message board, visible only by members of that cabin.
And here is when my invitation comes in! I’ve opened a private cabin next to @tdgal1, @wherethereissmoak, @laurabelle2930, @bitchwhwifi, @hope-for-olicity, and @arrow-through-my-writers-block. As you can see, there’s still plenty space in there for whoever wants to share a great time with us. I’ve been doing this challenge for 5 years now and I can tell you that is so much fun. The friendship and camaraderie inside the cabin can do wonders for your writing. Having a strong support system for when inner critic tries to beat you into submission or your muse runs away can do a big difference.
Besides my dearies (even if I know not all of them are writers), I’m taking the liberty of tagging everyone participating in @olicityhiatusficathon, 'cause many of us in the cabin will be working on the prompts given for OHFAT during July. Anyone interested, please send me an ask or message me through the chat. If you’re not interested, just ignore this post ;)
A lot of tagged people below the cut (Sorry if I cause you any inconvenience)

I’ve been away from tumblr, busy with other things but as camp nano started I’m in the need to come back not fully, you know bc I’m busy writing and all but as usual want to leave a tiny bit of what I’m working on. This month I’m working in assorted fics —new and old— so you’ll get a bit of everything.

Two baby blue eyes fixes on her, a little of surprise shines clearly on them. Soon it’s replaced with something much primal. Felicity swallows hard, feeling the appreciating look he gives her. Suddenly shy, she adjusts the duvet covering her. Totally ridiculous on her part because there isn’t much to hide from him after the wild night they obviously shared. Fire ignites in her belly, which leaves her breathless. The heat rushing through her veins skyrockets when her eyes roams over him. She’s taken aback by how handsome he is, with proud cheeks and a strong jaw, which is darkened by a sexy stubble. To her bafflement, he looks somewhat familiar, but can’t point out exactly how or when she met him.
What bothers her the most is that her body seems to recognize him much more than her memory does.
“Wh— who are you? Am I in your room? Why am I here… in your room… naked?!” That is quite obvious, but she couldn’t help asking anyway. “This is your room, right?” Felicity babbles at thousand miles per hour, her brain is too foggy to filter her words, not that in normal conditions it does a better job.
“I should feel offended that you don’t know me,” he mutters, “but if your hangover is half bad as mine is I guess that’s understandable why you can’t remember me. Honestly, I barely remember half of what we did last night. And yes, this is my room.”

Well, July has come to and I miraculously made it. If it wasn’t because @tdgal1 nudge me to start writing TYBA, I wouldn’t have make it. Thank you partner-slash-cabin mate for that!
Even if it wasn’t my best month, I did mange to write a few short fics fulfilling ohfat prompts and the few first chapters for Take Your Breath Away with Carol, so I’m considering it as a win.

Felicity is amazed by how the twins are like day and night. While Annabelle takes resemblance to her, physically speaking, with dark curls and blue-grayish eyes, her character is so like Oliver’s. She’s outgoing most of the time, but reserved with her feelings. However, once in a while, Belle falls into a taciturn mood of which is hard to get her out of it. Brooding is strong in the Queen DNA.
In the other hand, Ezekiel is opposite to his sister. He’s the exact miniature copy of Oliver in looks, dirty blond with baby blue eyes, while his personality is much alike hers at the same age. The slight lisp in his speech often exacerbates his shyness. However, if he feels comfortable with the people around him, essentially with family and friends, sometimes the speech disorder magically disappears and it’s when there’s no way to shut him up. Turns out that Zeke can babble more than she can, which is saying something.

I give up for today. In the last few days my muse hasn’t been in a cooperative mood and I’m falling behind, but not everything is lost yet. I have still time to catch up. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

“Were you ever going to tell me?”
His question is in a soft-spoken voice, devoid of all emotion. The lack of passion in his reaction makes her nervous. She thought that he would react differently, more angry perhaps; without a doubt she thought he’s be more loud. And yet, there he was, being the epitome of equanimity.
“Yes,” she croaks, with her volatile emotions making her voice tremble. Her words get stuck in her throat, but she forces them out. “I swear, Oliver, I— I was going to tell you. I just… I wanted to figure out what I want to do first, you know.”
“So, do you…?” Oliver trails off, finally showing some emotion. His mask of perfect composure begins to fall apart. Felicity catches out of the corners of her eyes that his free hand is twitching slightly. He’s rubbing his index and middle fingers against his thumb in a nervous tick.
“Do I… what?”
“What do you want to do?”

“I couldn’t stop thinking about you.”
Felicity becomes petrified and swallows hard as he invades her personal space. He slides his hands on her forearms down; his gentle touch stirring goose bumps on her arms. Oliver grabs of her hands, rubbing her wrists with a hypnotizing and sensual circling motion. “Never has other woman captured my attention. Not like this. There’s something… something about you that draws me to you.”

Both are transported back to that night when they shared ardent and sensual moments. Moments that are forever carved in his soul. Unforgettable kisses and caresses that his body feels as if they were happening right now. Heat rushes through his veins, heading straight to his groin. Felicity isn’t immune to the memories.
Oliver is happy to see the pretty blush that appears in her cheeks. It returns the healthy color to her face, erasing all traces of illness from it. Her heavy breathing, not too dissimilar to his own, is another sign of her arousal. She bits her lip and Oliver’s gaze focuses in her dark pink, kissable lips. The temptation to lean down and take her mouth for assault proves to be much more than what Oliver can bear. He steps closer to her, angling his body. Just a few inches separates him from what he desires the most.
Bang!

Yeah I wrote the grand number of zero words on the weekend, plus all the procrastination done today (I blame @tdgal1 for it… yes, you my partner in crime) I got behind. I’m hoping that tomorrow or the day after that I’ll catch up.

At the entry of the hallway, Oliver stands frozen like a statue, watching her with an inscrutable face. His chiseled features give away nothing to Felicity so she can start guessing what he’s thinking. She can only imagine the confusion and fear he must feel.

“If the press haven’t figure out yet, nobody will.” It wasn’t for lack of trying, though. In the last month, rumors of him getting married in Vegas with an unknown woman abounded. Unbelievably, no one in the media managed to find any proof. To tell the truth, he expected that some photos of them would make it to the first page of some tabloid, or the security video from the place they got married would end in the hands of TMZ. Oliver didn’t care much for what the sensationalist press throw at him; he was used to it. He had been worried about Felicity getting caught in the middle of the media frenzy that routinely came when the Queen family was involved in something, specially if it had to be with him. “We’re lucky with that.”
“Lucky? I’d say the magic this beauties made,” she says as she pauses in her typing to wiggle her fingers. Then Felicity continues what she’s doing. “Thank very much.”
Oliver’s jaw drops, hearing the revelation. His admiration for the woman in front of him grows by the second. “You?! You managed to wipe all the evidence and make as if we never were together in the casino... did you delete the security footage of the chapel where we got hitched?”
“It’s that judgment I’m hearing?” she asks looking at him over the rim of her spectacles.
“No, I’m not judging you. Actually, I’m in awe.”
