I hope you don’t mind me asking but I’m new to fandom and have been curious. Why do so many GA fans dislike PM? I don’t know much about him but have noticed that he’s not exactly beloved among her fans. Did he treat her badly?
I can't speak for other fans, anon. You'd have to ask them yourself. I just don't like him.
Back when they were together, many people did like him.
Asks
Hey followers I've gotten a bunch of asks in the last two months along the lines of, "I'm doing <self harming/textbook eating disorder/other behavior>. <Is that bad?/should I tell my therapist?/Is this okay?/Am I sick?>" I'm not going to respond to these. It feels unethical -and- makes me uncomfortable. I can't evaluate anyone via an ask. There will never be enough information and I'm not going to do a crap version of my day job that runs a licensing risk. I feel uncomfortable posting graphic descriptions of si or ed behaviors. My final comment is - yes tell your therapist/social worker/psychologist. You (or your insurance) is paying them money to address these kinds of issues. It's important to let them know what's going on.
Would you consider hospitalizing a patient if they needed stitches for a self harm injury?
I would need so much more information before I even touched that question with a ten foot pole.
Hi! I'm in psychoterapy for BED (cognitive-behavioral). My therapist suggest going also to psychiatrist. They are some meds for this eating disorder? Which can help?
I’m feeling like that’s beyond my scope for my ask box. Talk to your therapist about why they made the suggestion and if you go through it, speak to the psychiatrist about your options.
I'm 23 and was diagnosed with bipolar 2 disorder when I was 19. I was taking lexapro, abilify, adderall, and xanax for years until I eventually stopped on my own because I felt like I didn't need them anymore. (Wrong, obviously) talked to my doctor and she prescribed me lower doses of lexapro and abilify so I can build back up again to my normal dose, but I feel physically sick and overall just really shitty when I take these bow. Should I ask to be on a different medicine? What do you think?
I can’t answer this question for you. You gotta talk to your doctor.
Baby Robbie was cute.
i found my therapists house, not actively seeking, i drive by if its convienient to where im going but i also like it. I've told her this because i feel like its creepy not to. Ive also told her that i loathe myself for wanting to know about her life &getting this attached to her.I truely believe im a bad person & there r so many bad thoughts that i have& my biggest fear is that she will be scared of me or not like me, i'm 16 but do u think its cross the line? my thoughts r too clouded to tell
I think this is a really important conversation to keep having with your therapist. She’s going to be the one to have this conversation with you. Answering this specifically falls outside of what I’m comfortable with. Good luck.
