Proud to be involved with this record ‘Happy Accidents’ by my dear friend Jamie Lawson. First single “Can’t See Straight’ is out this coming friday August 4th, launch at The Tabernacle in West London Wednesday September 13th, and album release date is September 29th, you can pre-order by hitting the photo above.
We did the album at Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles in November and December last year. Producing was Joe Chiccarelli (Zappa, Mraz, Strokes etc), drumming Seattle Master Matt Chamberlain (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Fiona Apple etc), keyboarding, sci-fi ‘Jellyfish’ ace and legend Roger Joseph Manning Jr. (Beck, Adele, Jellyfish (!) etc). It was just mad.
It’s a great record, it’s up, it’ beautiful, it’s dark, it’s mellow, it’s fun, thank you Jamie for letting me play and sing backup on your songs, it’s a true honour and I’m confident this record will light up this world, we need that more than ever.
